Product Description

The bael tree is one of the most influential aboriginal fruit trees of India. Since primitive time it is known to Indians. The Bilva leaves considered as the three eyes of Lord Shiva. At the time of Mahashivaratri festival, contributing bael leaves is contemplated as propitious. Bael tree is an ancient ayurvedic tree with spiritual influential. Bael is trusted to be a sacred plant that brings prosperity. keeping it in a room near a window brings wellness, stability and good luck. Bilva plant also have medicinal importance. The extract of this can be used to treat high cholesterol and control cholesterol level in blood.

    Instructions for planting:

  1. Bael trees are generally planted as isolated plant.
  2. Hot summers and mild winters is the required climate.
  3. It should be planted at a distance of 8m*8m or 10m*10m (seedlings).
  4. Pits of 90cm*90cm*90cm size should be dug.
  5. Pits should be filled with garden soil and 25 kg of farmyard manure, 1 kg of neem oil and 1 kg of bone dust.
  6. To settle down the soil, irrigate the pits.
  7. They are generally planted between February and March or July and June.

    Instructions for Care:

  1. When the plant is young ,it is trained with the help of stake so that it can grow straight.
  2. Bael plants are most receptive to water logging, care should be taken to avoid this kind of condition.
  3. Suckers appearing from root stock should be removed after certain period of time.
  4. Climate should not be too cold.
