Cancellation & Return Policy

We at believe in helping our customers as much as possible, and has, therefore, we present a liberal cancellation policy. We have made it our mission to send you quality plants, products. We inspect each product very carefully before it leaves us to make sure it’s in tip top condition. We also do our package and protect everything so that it doesn’t get damaged on its way. However, if you do have a problem, here is what to do:

Conditions for return:

  1. The product is totally different from what you ordered & was not informed beforehand for the same.
  2. Returns for Plants and Pots category will be accepted only for Damaged/ Defective products. Refund will be provided only in case replacement for the same product is not available.
  3. Please notify us of receipt of a Damaged/ Defective product maximum within 24 hours of delivery.
  4. Please do not accept any products with damaged/ tampered packaging (excludes normal wear & tear and markings on the outer surface of the package, acceptable in the transit process).
  5. Products/ Items should be UNUSED.
  6. Products should be returned in their original packaging along with the original price tags, labels and invoices.
  7. It is advised that the return packets should be strongly and adequately packaged so that there is no damage to goods in transit.
  8. If any products are damaged post-delivery and do not follow Plant for a Plant Policy, shall not be accepted for return.

For outright cancellations by you:

  1. If you cancel your order before your Plants / Products has shipped, you can choose to have the entire amount refunded or get a LilPlants voucher.
  2. If your product has been shipped and is yet to be delivered, please do not accept delivery which will make your order return to us. The actual shipping and handling charges for cancellation of shipped orders will be recovered from the customer and the amount will be settled in the refund amount due. Please note that there will be a delay between actual shipping of order and updating the shipping status information on the Website. Consequently, the customer may not be able to verify that the order has been shipped prior to requesting cancellation. In such cases, LilPlants reserves the right to reject cancellation of the order.

If the cancellation is after your product has been shipped & delivered

  1. If you have already received the Plants / Products then it will be eligible for replacement, only in cases where there are defects found with the Plants / Products.

Damage, Delay or Loss in Transit:

On receipt of all goods inspect carefully, there could be certain circumstances beyond our control where you could receive a damaged product. Please advise us immediately if there is any sign of damage. We will replace the product to your satisfaction at no extra cost. In such circumstances, before using the product, please write to us. The defective product will need to be shipped back to us and a replacement will be shipped immediately on receipt of the defective product. Replacement is subject to the availability of the product in our stock.


In any case where we are unable to supply the variety ordered we shall be entitled to send what we consider the most suitable alternative unless otherwise requested. If the substituted variety is not acceptable to the Buyer, it must be returned unopened to us within 7 days of receipt.

Exchange Policy

    Our shipments are carefully inspected before the items leave our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please follow the instructions below:

  1. To request an exchange, please write to us at
  2. Items which are to be exchanged need to be sent to the addresses given below within seven days of receiving the goods
  3. will replace the items or issue a full refund if we have sent you a wrong item
  4. If you would like to exchange any item, will replace the returned items free of cost and issue a refund for the cost of the goods to the credit/debit card used for online shopping. However, shipping charges will not be refunded. On receipt of the wrong product at our return address, you would need to place a fresh order for the correct item
  5. Shipping charges will not be refunded, and customers are required to pay for the shipping costs to return the goods to the applicable return address
  6. Return/Exchange of the items will be accepted only if the product is in its original packaging, unused, with all original tags intact. Please make sure that the product is properly packed, to avoid any damage with a copy of invoice, before placing it for return.

Claiming Refunds

    Any refund claim (excluding shipping) will be processed within 10 working days once request of cancellation of item(s) is received or after receipt of the product by us or after we establish the goods sold by us did not conform to the Standards. Refund will be processed based on the mode of payment of the order:

For Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking Transactions:

  1. As the charge to your credit card/account would have already been done online at the time, you made the purchase and authorized the payment we will provide a refund to your account if applicable as per the situations are given below.
  2. If applicable, refunds would be made for the cost of the goods to the credit /debit card used for online shopping.However, shipping charges would not be refunded.

For COD (Cash on Delivery) Transactions:

  1. Refunds can only happen once we receive the parcel from your end. We will be creating an account and refund your money through an online transaction (RTGS).
  2. Cash Refunds for COD will be done through RTGS.
  3. The customer can ship the product back to us in case he or she receives a damaged or defective product after notifying us by email to

Refunds will be done in the following cases:

  1. Genuine quality issues.
  2. Packages lost in transit.
  3. In the case of discovers any mispricing in its online catalogue and the price charged to you is higher than the actual price.
  4. In case, discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you.
  5. In case, the customer is not happy with the purchase and has returned the item/items to the address mentioned above.

No refunds will be given in the following cases:

  1. Incorrect or outdated delivery address
  2. Incorrect address format including any form of a PO Box address
  3. After 3 failed delivery attempts by the courier
  4. Package refused by recipient
  5. Products returned in a used or damaged condition

Note: Refunds will only be made after we have received the returned shipment.
